Toshiba 32CV510U Review
The 32CV510U is a 32 inch LCD TV manufactured in 2008 by Toshiba. It is one of their cheapest flat screen televisions available in the market at the moment. It is safe to say that the Toshiba Regza 32CV510U is good enough for a high-def LCD television. This product has a considerable black-level performance, maintained by less accurate color. It can still be very appealing to buyers who avoid cheap high-def televisions.
The 32CV510U still has the same menu structure that Toshiba use ever since it created HDTV’s in 2007. Toshiba 32CV510U still provides easy navigation in the picture settings. The remote control still consist many useful glow-in-the-dark buttons that give the user easy access to the different features of the 32CV510U, and the clicker is able to control three more equipment.
The Toshiba 32CV510U is designed with a smooth rear, rounded sides on the corners of the cabinet and a couple of thin strips of speaker placed underneath the screen. The black stand of this flat-panel television does not swivel so you won’t be able to twist or turn it on the angle that you like. Also, there are hidden set of Audio/Video inputs located on the left side of the cabinet. The Toshiba Regza 32CV510U has a width of 31 inches, length of 22.4 inches, 9.8 inches deep and has a total weight of 30.6 pounds. This is probably one of the more compact 32 inch flat screen television.
When it comes to features, the 32CV510U is full of it. Like most of Toshiba’s LCD TV, it also has Dyna-Light Dynamic Back Light Control that enhances the brightness of the images in the TV. It has Pixel-Pure 4G 14-Bit Internal Digital Video Processing for flawless video transitions. It also has rightly acceptable native resolution of 1366 by 768. Native resolution is the resolution on which a television is designed to display images. The picture control settings have four preset modes which are not possible to modify. The Preference mode allows the adjustments to be saved independently per input, which provide easy optimization of picture parameters especially for various gadgets. The Theater Lock feature saves the Preference mode settings if you erased the settings by mistake. If you want to modify the white balance of the picture for better viewing or if you want to set the picture to match your personal style, you can use the Color Temperature Control feature and you have the option to put it to warm, medium or cool setting. With an NTSC analog TV tuner and QAM and ATSC digital TV tuner you will surely find interesting channels everyday.
Another key feature of Toshiba 32CV510U is the Sound-Strip Speaker System for improved dynamic sound range that is similar in the big home theater.
The Toshiba 32CV510U has a solid connectivity starting with two HDMI inputs at the back and another one located on the side, an RF input for antenna or cable, a pair of component video inputs, and a second AV input with composite video located also on the side panel and one VGA-style PC input.
In conclusion, the 32CV510U is an LCD TV that is worth buying. Although it requires an improvement in the color quality, it can still produce good picture judge against similar products.
