People have always liked to go home, sit down on their couch and watch TV. In fact, many people have been quite addicted to watching TV, especially if they have a Cable TV or Satellite TV. But for many people, who are concerned of their electricity bills and the environment, they try to spend less time watching TV. That’s because many people still own CRT TVs, which consumes a large amount of power when used. With the present economic crisis and the threat of global warming, people have to spend less time with their TV. The Vizio VW32L’s screen size is at 32 inches, which is a standard size for mid-range LCD TVs. The screen resolution is at 720p (1280 x 720 pixels) and it can display up to 1080i. The contrast ratio is low at 700:1, which is normal for a budget LCD TV. Expect pixilated images on dark or bright scenes because of the low contrast ratio. The aspect ratio is at 16:9 widescreen and you can adjust the widescreen mode to normal, zoom, panorama and wide. As expected from a budget TV, the response time is only at 8ms, so you might see pixilated images on fast action videos.
As for gaming, you won’t be able to enjoy High Definition gaming with the Vizio VW32L. Although the Vizio VW32L has two HDMI ports, you might just encounter too many pixilated images as you play video games with your XBOX 360 and the PS3. So you might not want to have this TV if you want to play High Definition games.
As for sounds, you will experience one of the best sound systems on the Vizio VW32L. The Vizio VW32L has two built-in speakers and it utilizes sound enhancement with the Virtual Dolby Digital Surround Sound. Watching TV shows and movies with the HD DVD and Blu-Ray Discs is exciting and good because you get to experience great sounds. Too bad you can’t add more speakers because the Vizio VW32L does not have any audio output except for the HDMI analog audio. So you still need to find a speaker that uses an HDMI plug to increase the number of speakers.
